Out of Pocket Productions

October 9-11
All performances @ 7:30 PM

NY PLAYS is a collection of interlocking short plays, some comic, some serious, and some surreal, that captures life all across New York State.  Each play presents characters struggling with some personal and/or political conflict clarified by experiences specific to a region's details and ideologies.  Taken together, NY PLAYS explores the potential of multiple dramatic forms to illuminate the humanity of small moments that matter.

NY PLAYS is the work of noted local playwright Maria Brandt and is a special three-night only event.  Tickets are $10 pre-sale and $15 at the door.  Student/senior tickets are $8 pre-sale and $10 at the door.

In addition, on Saturday, October 11th at 2 pm, Out of Pocket will stage a reading of "deleted scenes" from NY PLAYS.  This is a free event; donations accepted.
